Lismore House - Oban

It was excellent and incredible to Cal Mac ferry terminal. It was an advantage to be not far from Lismore House as well as the centre of Oban right next to ferry, bus and train station...

Great location in the heart of the city, close to train station and ferry terminal.

Lack of WiFi, although 4G coverage was available.

incredible location very close to the centre of oban, train station and ferry terminal and mccaig's tower, everything great. kitchenette for cooking. great facilities, such as an electric kettle, a fridge and a microwave oven.

We had a wonderful stay close to the castle, tower, and terminal, and the kitchenette was perfect with a microwave, electric kettle.

It truly felt like being in our own home. the location couldn't have been better as everything we wanted to see was within close proximity, and it was easily accessible. the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the apartment was clean, well-furnished, and spacious, perfect for our needs. We also appreciated the private parking and the fact that it was centrally located, near the ferry port and train station. a beautiful, clean, and conveniently located apartment that made our stay in Oban delightful. Cons: Nothing, really. This place ticked all the boxes for us. 😊.

I recently stayed at a fantastic hotel in Oban called Lismore House. The apartment was clean, bright, and spacious for the three of us. It had everything we needed, including well-furnished rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The location was perfect, with private parking and just behind the train station and the harbor. It was also incredibly quiet, making for a peaceful stay. Additionally, everything we wanted to see and do, from restaurants to shops to the museum and promenade along the sea, was within walking distance.

The lack of communication from the owner was disappointing. the oven's top shelf was unclean and there was a loose pot handle that required washing.

The location of the hotel couldn't be better - right in the heart of the town, close to the train station and ferry terminal. It was so easy to get around and explore all the attractions nearby. Plus, having a parking space was a huge bonus and made it convenient for us to have our car with us.

Grabbing a morning coffee and shopping at the convenience store across the road was a breeze. the host, Lorraine, was exceptional in her communication, promptly assisting us when we had to rearrange our dates. We were grateful to have a parking bay right by the window, making it convenient to keep an eye on our car. the accessibility of the property with lifts was a great advantage, especially with a pram and luggage. the apartment itself had all the amenities we required, was well-maintained, comfortably furnished, and kept us warm in the chilly weather. As we were traveling with young children, we appreciated the child-friendly features such as books and soft floors. Cons: Nothing, everything was great! 😄.
